About Me
Shortly after getting my first family dog when I was 15 years old I diiscovered dog sports and I was hooked.
I started in Competitive Obedience and then when I had my children we started Agility. I discovered Canine Hoopers in 2020 when we couldn't go to Agility training and shows and the dogs loved it. My back also thanked me as Hoopers equipment is a lot lighter to move around.
I love training my dogs and like to split training into small pieces and move strategically through all the steps so the dog understands the behaviours well and is confident when executing them.
I also enjoy helping people to train their own dogs and experience the fun of the partnership and teamwork you get with dog sports. I have been a dog trainer since 2013. From starting my competitive hoopers career in late 2021 Blitz and I now go around the country to compete in Bk9 Hoopers event's where she K5 and sometimes gets the pleasure of me being in a handling box 😆
